Greetings,
I am a first-time rep purchaser and am new to this site. I would first like to thank the many people who take the time to post meaningful information here. As a noob, a "first purchase" can be a somewhat daunting and un-nerving process. As I have come to discover, there is much more to consider than just the appearance of the watch itself...…….TDs, best factories, movement, etc. The information I was able to obtain on this site simplified many of my decisions.....So again - thank you all!
Like me initially, I have seen some posts that show some concern for the turn-around/shipping times due to COVID - 19. I thought I would share my experience with Trusty Time up to this point and maybe even help ease some of your concerns. Here is my current timeline:
3/25/2020 - Place order w/ TT for 2 Omega Seamaster Chronographs. Complete instructions for completing the order (via PayPal) followed shortly thereafter.
3/27/2020 - Received QC pics of both watches and approved (again, thanks to the forum members who post about the readings/settings that are shown in the QC pics - I would have never known what they mean or could indicate).
3/30/2020 - Received initial DHL notification of shipment.
4/3/2020 - Contacted Andrew @TT to find out why there were no updates to the shipping status.
4/13/2020 - Contacted Andrew @TT (second time)

4/23/2020 - Received notification from DHL (via text) that package is scheduled for delivery on 4/27/2020 (I verfied this status on the DHL website).
As for my dealings with Andrew and Trusty Time up to this point............I could have not asked for better customer service. As many have stated here......given the circumstances world-wide, delays are to be expected. Unfortunately, being a "noob" (in my case at least) can come with a certain level of paranoia and hesitancy due to the fact that I am entering into "uncharted waters" for the first time. Andrew made the process smooth and efficient. In answering all of my questions Andrew has been prompt in his responses, courteous, informative in explaining the different causes for delays, and most of all - reassuring during these unusual and difficult times.
......will follow-up with status/pics once shipment is actually in my hands.
