First rep order - Cartier

Hey, after reading dozens of posts on RWI I can finally add to the conversation.

Today I submitted my order and payment for a Ballon Bleu, Tank Must and Santos.

Steve and I had been discussing options like getting the BB and Tank from the AF factory, and grabbing an additional leather strap for the Tank. He was responsive both when our timezones were separate, and when we overlapped we would communicate in near-real-time.

You are off to a great start. Do you realize once you start buying Reps you can't stop?

Hi again, here's the timeline so far:

2024-01-03 15:30; First contact on WhatsApp, sent a bunch of questions about Cartier and PP while they were asleep.
2024-01-03 23:56; Response to my PP questions. We keep talking in real-time until 2024-01-04 00:00.

As things move forward, I never have to wait more than an hour or two when our timezones overlap.

When I give Steve my final order with total, he confirms then adds the holiday and Wise discounts. Awesome.

From the time I submit payment through Wise, he confirms on his side within literally 5 minutes.

So far, a super positive experience. I've worked with Chinese manufacturing professionally for more than a decade, so I understand the need for patience and clarity/confirmation in communication going both ways.

I'll add updates as they occur, and I'm looking forward to balling o u t o f c o n t r o l

Which size tank did you go with? I've been looking at the AF tank solo 28mm and the AF tank must 25.5mm but cant decide between the two. I'm worried the must might look too small but think I like the rounded look slightly better, I still love the solo though which is why I cant decide.

Would love to see some QC pics of the one you ordered.

I think I might go with a tank solo in the end if I can source one with a SS bracelet but if I can't I might just copy you.
