Hi all, been lurking a few years, really fancied this watch since I saw it a while back. Bit the bullet and brought the more expensive version from Trusty Time for my birthday. Went for this after reading Mirages thread seeing the AR, and date wheel much better than the 7750.

Congratulations!
Can you provide some comments / review?
Let me ask you... Is the clasp engraved "MONTBLANC"?

Andrew is " Trusty Time" I don't know why he is not on RWI but he is a good guy. Have bought several from him. Never had an issue and he always stood behind any issue I had.

Well I am very new to reps! I used TrustyTime as I found him a few years ago on these boards when I started looking at this watch (note his site is: http://www.ttw8488.com and there are some scam sites around.) His communication was excellent and it arrived without hitch. The watch really looks beautiful, and I've ordered a leather strap and was kindly sold a cheap rep MB buckle on these forums! Andrew sent me QC pics on a timograph before sale and it all looks to be upto spec.

I brought this watch (the most expensive version at $398) after reading Mirages review of the Noob Factory, and Andrew confirming he was selling the Noob factory version. There do seem to be some discrepancies between what I got and the Noob Factory versions I saw in Mirages thread, and also on the sale pictures on Andrews site. These being: the 1 on the date wheel has the tick at the top rather than just a line. The depth reading reads 30M not 30m. The serial starts PJ12.... rather than PJ14. The lugs seem to be the less refined version. It does however definitely contain the 7753 movement.

Now these issues had me slightly concerned, as I had paid to hopefully get the best, over the 7750. Andrew did tell me many times this is in fact the Noob version, but I could not confirm or deny either way. It does seem Noob factory stopped making these a few years ago so I'd guess I got the best that was available at the moment.

The clasp is engraved.

One question I would have being a novice is about the AR. The biggest change the 7753 made over the 7750 according to Mirage was the double AR coating. Without having anything to compare too I can not tell if its double, single, or no AR at all - anyone shed some light on it for me?

Any questions or pic requests please go ahead!

The 7753 version has a working pusher for the date @10. If you change the date using this pusher then you have a real 7753 with double AR. If it's fake then it is au 7750 with simple AR
