Hello all,

I want to get my first rep and I’ve pretty much narrowed it down to this one.

What are the differences between the Noob v4 ($258) and the “upgraded” Noob v4 ($378)? Worth the extra 120? There’s also a KW 111O for $208, thoughts on that one?

I also like the 127E for $298 that is well reviewed but I’m not sure about 47mm, is it that big?

Also which strap do you recommend? Are the croc skin ones nice?

Thanks for any help!

The Noob 111, priced similarly at $258, is already a good timepiece in its own right. Who's the source for the upgraded Noob you mention? If there are upgrades it's usually with the Incablock but that's behind the watch.

IMO, the 127E isn't as large as you think, comb through the wristie threads for examples of 47mm, take into consideration the angle of the picture may make it appear larger than it really is. Also, the wristtie threads will give you an idea of strap combinations that others have used. Croc's (watch straps...) in general are good but it needs to fit the application and the aforementioned thread will help.

This is like you went into a store and you saw seemingly similar items with significantly different prices. What do you do? Go outside the store and ask everyone who passes by "What is the difference between the two?" Or do you think it would be best to ask the store owner? Hmm...

Honestly I don't see any difference between the two items. Following my practical example, the store owner might have received new stocks of the item but forgot to update the price of some of the old stock, hence the price difference. Again, in this case, asking the store owner, who is torobravo, would be the best way to definitively know.

Asking about the size of the PAM127 is asking a complete stranger over the phone "Hey there's this shirt in Large size, do you think it will fit me?" He has no way of knowing given the anonymous nature of your physical stature, like in the case of the PAM127, your wrist size. 47mm is only 7% bigger than 44mm but for some people that's more than enough to discourage them from wearing it.

Strap choice, you didn't mention where you are looking at. Again, not being very specific. Rep strap? Rubbish, better get the PAM111 on rubber as the quality is better. Then get an inexpensive aftermarket strap from any number of sources.
