First rep ever, ordering experience with Hont

Hi everyone,

After a long, long time of reading, researching, and more reading and researching, I've finally decided to take the plunge and get in the game. I wanted to share my experience and have this record as something I can look back on in retrospect one day.

Timeline:

Jan 22, 2023 - First outreach, asking if Hont has an item in stock (via WhatsApp number from hontwatch.ru) (Navitimer BSW0315A)
Feb 1, 2023 - Hont replies, says most factories are back after 2/2. Asks which payment I would like to use. Sent payment through Transferwise with screenshot, and called his number, per his instructions.

Still waiting to hear back confirmation of payment transferred. Will keep this post updated.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) I have another watch already in mind to purchase!

Feb 6, 2023: Hont confirmed payment, requested that I submit order and shipping information via email, which is now complete. He said QC should be around 3-7 days.

I reached out to Hont on February 14, 2023 for an update, as it had been two weeks (Feb 1) since I transferred payment. Hont replied a few hours later saying "i ask sorry sometime slow."

Waiting for QC.

Fingers crossed in good faith.

February 17, 2023: Asked Hont if there is an update for QC pics and if he could share the factory name.

Zero response.

February 17, 2023: Hont responds with QC. I asked for an additional close up of the dial.

February 19: Haven't received the additional photo but having run through QC through the community, I green light with Hont.

Hont acknowledges.

March 9: My piece has finally arrived after what feels like years of refreshing the tracking page. Stunning. Gorgeous. Can't say enough good things about it. I'm already looking for my next one and will probably go with Hont again. Thank you Hont!
