First rep, decided to go with Hont

Things are going smoothly so far, I'll be keeping a log of interactions here and post a review of the experience in the end.

Oct 29 11am - messaged Hont on WhatsApp regarding the offer he posted on RepTime. He replied within seconds with a picture of the watch and payment methods.
Oct 31 9pm - Payment through transferwise was completed and sent a screenshot of the payment.
Nov 1 5am - Hont confirmed payment was received and asked me to send him an email with order and personal info. I sent him the email and the same info on WhatsApp about an hour later.

Currently waiting for QC pics, will post them here when I can!

I followed the same process as you did and I'm a bit further, as I already got the QC and the tracking number for the shipment.
The QC pics were actually HD (lume, timegraph, different views). He also provided me with a video of my watch while he changed the date and time.
I also liked that Hont taped my reference number on the watch. This makes the experience more professional.

Don't forget that this is a rep watch. It will not be 100% the same as a gen.

Your are welcome.
No, you don't need to look for anything special. It's just that the watch will be a rep and some flexibility in the QC expectations is recommended.

Update: Got QC and everything seems to be ok!

In the meantime, I also asked for a BTF Daytona Black dial, to which I got QC pictures in less than 24 hours! Can't wait for them to arrive

that sounds like great service - the QC photo's I got my TD where not HD, nor video, so sounds like Hont does go to good lengths! Congrats on the 2nd purchase

Received the reps yesterday! Super satisfied with the whole process, amazed at the quality of the watches as well. Not only will I buy again, I have already ordered a black sub from hont
