I’m looking to buy a Cartier for my first Rep and eventually get all in this list. For my first order I’m between a Stainless Steel Panthere size Medium, Dumont size Small, and a Tank Must Large.
Panthere Stainless Steel Medium 27mm
After a few days reading all over the form and RepTime I found that GF and BVF are considered among the best high-end reps for the Panthere but then when I get to reps sites I see the GF as listing it as
“Made with a Genuine Cartier Panthere De Secrete Ladies 1:1”
While the BVF doesn’t list this. GF seems to be no longer available as they were raided. Was this a superior rep to the BVF, a NWBIG? Is there anyone who can still source a stainless steel GF 27mm Panthere? Is it worth waiting for GF to come back?
Dumont Stainless Steel Small 31mm
This is the next watch I’m very interested in and it seems F1 is the current best and in some posts I’ve heard it considered NWBIG other than the band. Is this accurate? Are there any better factories? Anything I should be aware of when going forward with this piece?
Tank Must Stainless Steel Large 27mm
This is the watch that made me realize reps were a viable , interesting, engaging, and fun hobby. I heard the AF tank was NWBIG but they were closed down. Is there any chance they will come back? Is there anyone else that makes a tank at the same quality level? Is it worth waiting for AF to come back?
If someone with knowledge about Cartier reps who would help me understand th nuances as a complete beginner, I would greatly appreciate it.
