i am just about to send my first payment through western union to Lucy at truetime.
Can someone please advise me on how western union payment system works and is your or can you protect your money?

also can members install some confidence in me that have bought from Lucy/truetime and everything will go smoothly

If anything, buying from a trusted dealer is safer than buying from a large organisation (If you have the correct expectations for reps and the rep game)

- A TD relies on good press within the forums, one or two bad transactions is enough for them to lose a sizeable amount of business
- A TD has been vetted through many transactions with members of the board and approved by the mod and admin team - not anyone can be a dealer
- You're not alone should any problems arise. You have the entire forum and staff that serve to protect the members
- Lucy is a great dealer anyway

Nonetheless, I repeat what I said before about having the correct expectations for a rep and when purchasing a rep. You'll be happy if you have the right sort of attitude and expectations. This is not Amazon, reps get seized sometimes, reps break down, communication may not sometimes be the best. But if you remind yourself that you're buying an illegal counterfeit product from some guy (or girl) in China for a tiny tiny fraction of a genuine piece, then you'll be happy.

Regarding WU, it is not for your protection, it is for the dealers protection. Your protection is RWI (and it's a damn hell of a good one)

going for breitling avenger skyland hopefully the newest/best version as discussed with Lucy. Looking forward to it.

could you give me run down on how to western union process works ? only ever used paypal.

Just sign up with western union, tell Lucy you are using WU and she will send you her info.
Once you have it, use WU to pay her and follow steps.
Send her your MTCN number and your shipping address and wait like a little child for the Christmas gift on Christmas Eve.

Some people use Western Union online and some go in to a western union store to do it. I prefer to go to the western union place and do it there. It's in the Rite Aid Pharmacy just down the street from me. It literally takes less than 5 minutes to do. they have a western union phone. you just pick it up and it automatically dials western union for you. then asks some questions and then the name of the person you are sending to and some other things. Make sure you spell lucy's name exactly how she gives it to you or the payment will not go through. It's very simple. and then you just go up to the cashier and pay. then like what warhol said above just email lucy with the numbers so she can pick it up. WU is simple to use, and Lucy is very trustworthy or she wouldn't be a TD here. She is excellent. I won't use anything but WU from now on because it's so fast and convenient. good luck and please post pics when you get your watch. also, remember be patient. It will take at least two weeks to get to you if you are in the U.S.

Hi, to the trusted dealers on the forum You are at ease to send the money, they will do their part. For WU it´s really best to walk with the cash into the next WUstore/post-office?/bank? pls look nearest on the internet and do it from there. If You do it online there is a 50% chance the first transaction will not go through or You are contacted by Your credit card provider for further questions or to confirm You made the transaction (this is normal just to not wonder if this is so). When I made online t it was also some 20 to 30 usd more expensive.

Massive thanks for the info guys. Well as it stands I'll be going to the local WU point tomorrow. Online Transaction got canceled twice today.
Am Thinking just aswell it never went through as I am stuck for choice between a grey avenger skyland h fac v4 or white 2011 avenger skyland.

Need your help and opinions guys, What one is best? What would you chose and why?

Well!
Today I order a nice yellow seawolf V2 from Lucy. Shes been brilliant so far.
Was an extra few quid but hey it's beats the skyland hands down (hopefully lol)
