I've had my eye on this VC tourbillion for a while and I finally decided to go for it. However, prompted by this thread, where another member ordered a supposedly in-stock watch, only to find out later it wasn't in stock at all, I contacted Elliot via WhatsApp to check the watch was available and was told that it was. I placed the order, then the next day I received an email to tell me it wasn't actually available due to 'a parts shortage' and offering a refund or a different watch. So much for checking before ordering... 
No longer in the mood for playing the is-it-or-isn't-it-available game, I checked Elliot's UK stock to see if there was anything else I fancied an noticed a rather nice BBF Daytona with a dark blue dial. Long story short, Elliot substituted this for the VC. It was sent out for next day delivery and arrived this morning.
Overall, a mixed experience and disappointing that I couldn't get my first choice of watch, but the Daytona is gorgeous so I'm not complaining too much. Elliot was very responsive in responding to WhatsApp and email messages. That said, I would buy from him again, especially given he has continually updating UK stock of the most popular watches. But he needs to up his game in terms of ensuring availability information is 100% accurate when it comes to the less popular stuff that needs to be ordered from the factories.
