I am new on this forum and this my first review of my first purchasing experience at trustytime.
I’d also like to contribute to this community since reading people's reviews in the past has turned out quite helpful and I appreciate it.
To keep it short and simple, I placed my order on the 10th of July 2021 for an IWC Spitfire from MKF with a Miyota 9015 automatic movement.
On the 13th I received the order confirmation from trustytime and on the 19th the first QC pics were sent to me by Andrew.
Since I was uncertain about two minor details on the dial, I contacted Andrew and received immediate and constructive feedback. In addition to that, two days later I received new QC pics of a different item which seemed more satisfying to me.
On the 21th of July I confirmed the order and received my watch on 07.08.2021.
Regarding my purchase, I really like the watch and I have to admit that it looks nicer in real life than on the website or on the QC pics.
For someone that was a little sceptical regarding the workmanship in advance, I’m quite happy with the watch, especially after my recent comparison of it with an OG IWC Spitfire from a friend of mine.
In that respect, MKF probably could improve a bit on the embossment of the triangle at the top of the dial as well as on the hour marks and possibly on the position of the lettering „swiss made“ at the bottom of the dial.
BUT other than that, the watch is great!
As a side note but worth mentioning, the photoluminescent material on the hour marks and arms is bright and even the leather strap is surprisingly really well made.
Lastly, the Myota 9015 movement runs accurately and setting the time works smoothly.
As a summary, the product is nice, the delivery period was absolutely reasonable and the communication with Andrew was short but on point, friendly and fast, constructive and trustworthy which I appreciate the most.
I would definitely consider purchasing from trustytime again and hope they keep up their good service.
