First Purchase from Trusty Time everything is great so far!

Purchased a YachtMaster 226659 42mm 316F SS/RU Blk VSF VS3235 from Andrew and I have to say everything has been great so far.

Extremely responsive TD with a great attitude.

20/7 - Emailed Andrew to check on the availability of the watch and confirmed with me within an hour
20/7 - Placed the order and Andrew emailed me to confirm that the payment went through

Currently awaiting QC pictures.

Given how efficient Andrew is I doubt the wait would be long.

Will post the QC pictures upon receiving them. Excited for my new purchase!!! [h=1][/h]

31/7 got an update from Andrew and was told that factories are temporarily closed for the time being due to new raids. The wait continues for QC pics. Will post and update them once I have it

12/8 So far close to a month now and QC pictures are not in yet due to raids. For those who are planning to purchase a watch now from certain factories might not be a good time. Will continue to update

20/8 VSF is still closed. Was offered to switch to another watch if I would like to but I've decided to wait for VSF to reopen! LETS GO

I also ordered recently from another seller and same issue, first watch was waiting for a while but ended up changing to a different model which hopefully wil arrive sooner. It seems to me that a lot of these watches are not really available these days. Almost as valuable or rare as the real thing!

Indeed buddy! VSF is still currently closed but I’ve decided to continue to wait for the factory to reopen as they do have the best rep when it comes to this particular model. Will post QC photos and wrist shots upon getting them!! Hope you’ll get yours soon as well!

For me, another issue came up with respect to Chinese customs inspecting packages so further delays in receiving my watches. Whilst this might sound like another excuse, I have heard that Chinese Customs can be a little strickt with exports, a bit like our Customs with imports!

So far no news on the factories yet. Have waited close to 2 months now. Both VSF and ARF are closed at the moment and am not sure when they will be reopening. From which factory did you make your purchase from? Yeah I guess that Chinese customs do indeed can be a little strict depending on luck

My Omega is meant to be a VSF which was already in stock, not sure on the Tag but I will check. I mean how do you really know for sure?

VSF is still closed. I’ve decided to change it to another factory and will update when the QC pics arrive.

Andrew offered to refund me my credits but I have decided to keep them with him for my next purchase instead
