First purchase from Steve 3KF 5711

First purchase from Steve and first time actually participating in the forums instead of lurking. Wanted to share a more specific time frame for anyone who wants to get an idea. So far, he's been very easy to get a hold of and communicative, assuming all keeps going well Steve is definitely in the top spot of being my goto TD from now on.

11-30 11pm est: Placed order for 3KF 5711 gray dial after checking his yupoo stock.

12-1 1am est: Realized after authorizing the charge and re-placing the order I used my home address instead of the business address for the CCs billing

12-1 9am est: Message him on WhatsApp how it will probably get blocked again because of my mistake in the billing, he cancels it promptly for me to reorder


12-1 9:10am est: Minutes later AMEX let the charge through (bc I somehow forgot they'd 1. know my home address and 2. would probably let it go since I authorized it the night before)

Confirmed payment with Steve a few minutes later and proceeded with the originally cancelled order


12-3 1am est: received QC link (a mega link with pictures and videos with your order # taped to the watch) ---> RL due to 12 hour marker vertical misalignment making it extremely noticable even at a distance. Sent a message to Steve, replied in a couple minutes after checking the pics and agreed there is a problem. Having a new one delivered in a few days to QC again

12-6 1am - New QC pics received ---> GL

12-7 8am : Tracking number received

Seems to be a USPS number, can't tell if I'll see shipping updates in China with this number or if it will only update when it comes stateside

Oh no I hope it won't be too long! I'm flying out of the country on the 26th till the end of January, I'd be worried sick about it showing up with no one to grab it immediately

If that hasn't shipped yet, I would hazard to guess the chances of it arriving before you leave at zero.

Better think of something..... and communicate to Steve when you approve your QC stuff of your timeline.

USPS tracking number just updated!

12-13 12:04 am arrived at partner facility , USPS site shows it is currently handled by DHL E-commerce , and awaiting handoff to USPS

Package just entered the US and handed off to a partner facility, hope your tracking information updates soon 5 days between receiving the tracking and entering the US during this time of year is pretty impressive!

12-17 9am: DELIVERED!

It is absolutely beautiful in hand, the packaging was very thorough
it came inside a bag with my order #, and was placed inside this space between some foam inserts. It did a very good job of protecting the watch and not allowing it to get thrown around in the box.

The watch itself is definitely the exact same one that I saw in the QC, no bait and switch and no bullshit, what I green lit is what came in the mail.

11 days between green light and delivery! That was crazy fast! And it definitely wasn't a short path it went from HK --> California --> delivered to my mailbox in Michigan, DHL E commerce handled the transport to my local USPS and they delivered


The watch itself-
Absolutely beautiful, the movement feels smooth as butter, it's silent and the movement is beating without a hiccup, using an app on my phone I checked the accuracy and it's reporting the same numbers as the timegrapher from the QC pics, which again goes to show how well it was packaged imo.

In conclusion, Steve is easily going to be my goto TD, even during the busy holiday season he was quick to respond(I recommend using Whatsapp to communicate with him), friendly, and very quick with getting his side of the deal done. I think noob buyers will especially feel comfortable working with him, at least compared to how I felt ordering from a couple other TDs

Ah just to clarify one thing, the watch didn't come bare like that in the foam that I showed in pic 1, I just had it there to show what came inside that space, there were a couple thick plastic sleeves/bags the watch was inside, and that was inside the empty space. It was well protected
