I ordered my first watch from Lucy on 10th April 2024 and received it today. A total of 7 weeks for the whole process but having researched it beforehand, that was nothing I wasn't expecting. Reading many reviews on here it seems that people treat this a bit like Amazon, in that if they don't get it the next day they will never be satisfied.
The first QC pictures arrived on 17th April which I thought was a pretty quick turnaround. The watch looked fine so I gave Lucy the go ahead. However, on inspection by her watchmaker it turned out that this one had a small issue with the date wheel so it was decided to source another one.
The second watch arrived with Lucy on 22nd May and this was also found to have a small issue with a tight crown. This one was able to be solved by the watchmaker and was shipped on 24th May. It arrived in the UK today, 30th May so very quick travel compared to other stuff I have purchased from China.
Overall, I would have to say that I'm very impressed with both the watch and the service from Lucy. She is normally quick to respond to requests for updates and helpful with photos of the watch, etc. There does seem to be quite some chaos in the Chinese market at the moment and I think the process would have been much less than 7 weeks without that.
I will be ordering some more watches this year and I will not be looking for a different TD. It's Lucy for me from now on.
