Alright so here goes my first post....

So I've been browsing around between the forums and rep websites for the past couple of days looking for a good source for a PAM 111. I'm probably looking to spend max $150 and definitely will be replacing the band or vintagizing the stock one (I work in a boutique furniture upholstery store so I know a thing or two about aging soft goods ;) ).

Any ways I've seen a couple from around here and thought this one from Watcheden was the best bang for the buck, let me know what you guys think and if you have any other suggestions.

Also not necessarily a 111 but this model looked good too, AR might be a little strong though

The 111 in the link has a very poor quality crown and crown guard..the rest of the watch looks ok.

I think he means not very gen looking / accurate
so if you're looking for 111 "style"
but not best quality
its ok for that price...

Wont have good gen like lume, crownguard and pin and crown are not good at all... who knows on the crystals anti reflective (AR) function

<$250 is going to get you a 111 "style" watch... but maybe nothing you'd be able to pass off as even a semi accurate representation of the genuine.

i think thats what he ment...
if not thats what i mean
;)

Yes, that's pretty much what I meant :) To be specific, the crown and crown guard appear to be thinner than usual. There is also a large gap between the crown guard and the case; it almost looks like it is the 'wrong' fit for this model.

Also, I'm not sure if it's an effect of the pictures, but the crown guard looks like it is a polished finish when it should be a brushed finish for this model.

I think that if you look around a bit more and do some more reading on the forums, you should be able to find something better.
