Hello all, forgive me if this has been discussed before- I searched the forums on my phone and couldn't find many similar topics.

Basically I've had my PAM 111nv3 for about 5 months now. The other day it randomly stopped working. I believe I may have overwound it. (Typically wound in the morning and at night only until I felt resistance and no more). If I correct the time the watch will run for approx 30 mins before it stops again.

I was hoping a fellow member who is keen on repairs could possibly take a look at it or recommend a smith near me in the US (I'm near Detroit, MI).

Any help would be greatly appreciated as even being without my PAM for the past few days has been torture :(.

Hi just read a thread yesterday somewhere that it happens to "overwind" the 6497 and it has to be repaired/exchanged (depending how expensive labour is). Think my first step would be to get another model PAM and meanwhile send this for repairs as well.

First before you do anything, try smacking the watch with the palm of your hand and see if you can get it going that way if you are sure you overwound it.
It just might kick it back to life.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations, I had a chat with Katt last night and am on my way to the post office now to send it for repairs.

+1 or open the back and blow on the escapement and see if she fires up.
