After many years and grades of Rolex reps (and one Omega), I'm just about to pick up my first PAM rep and am sticking to entry level, 000 with the sausage dial applied markers with solid caseback or 112 with the sandwich dial with display caseback. It makes sense both from my perspective to see whether this chunky watch works on my mid-size wrist, and from the 'let's not advertise the fact we're wearing a rep in the office' point of view.
I've never been a huge fan of the see-through, movement viewing caseback concept but something about the 112 is giving me pause. I've located both the 000 and the 112 at TDs and am ready to move forward.
I'm split between the two. Both are listed as super-reps and NWBIGs. If either of these was your first, or better yet, if you happen to own both and/or a gen for comparison, which way would you lean? A bit of a departure for me for the fine details of all shapes and sized on the Rolex Sub Date.
