First order with Trusty Time - First order ever!

After several years of being an admirer, I finally decided to take the plunge. Several hours of reading landed me with choosing Andrew and Trusty Time. In spite of my nervousness about the entire process it's been quite smooth thus far.

March 12 - Selected Submariner 116610LN 904L SS/SS Blk ZZF V3 A2836 (ROLSUB0330A) directly from the site. CC payment was confirmed only a few hours later

March 14 - Received QC pics gave the GL

Awaiting email notification of shipping information now which I realize is the portion of these transactions that will require my patience! Hoping this all goes even remotely as well as all of the stories I've read and I'll be a happy repeat buyer. I'm afraid I've caught the bug for real and I have two additional purchases I'll be making for a Seamaster PO and Seamaster 300m.

**QUESTION** Is there any advantage to emailing Andrew directly with the watch I'd like to purchase instead of simply selecting it from the website? I don't think I've gotten a clear read on what traditionally is the better way to proceed?

It’s always good policy if it’s a popular model or something to email and make sure it is in stock and then once confirmed it’s available, order from the site...
if it is something not on his website but he can get, he still may want you to go through the site with a “custom” order anyway..

Appreciate the heads up. I did email the models I was looking at next literally had a response back that both were available within 10 minutes. I'll take that route moving forward.

April 3 - Out for delivery. The three sweetest words EVER. I'm amazed it took less than three weeks to get to this point and I simply cannot wait to share some pics finally. Got notification on tracking that there was a delay. Emailed Andrew to see if it was something to be concerned about or if it's just typical courier to courier delays and no big deal. Within 10 minutes he responded telling me all is well and it would arrive soon. 5 hours later it was scanned at my local post office out for delivery. Andrew is magical!
