First order with Trusty (Andrew) - Hulk + Batgirl [UK]

Hi all,

So I thought I would share my experience with purchasing reps from Trusty, and detail why exactly I would recommend them as a TD!

• 30th November 2021 - I placed my order with Andrew via email on the, ordering 2 watches which were on offer at the time, a Noob Hulk and a GMF Batgirl. I decided to pay via Western Union which reduced the price of my order by 5%.
• 1st December 2021 - Payment was confirmed via email by Andrew
• 5th December 2021 - QC pics received for Batgirl (green lit by me the same day)
• 20th December 2021 - QC pics received for Hulk (green lit by me the same day)
• 30th December 2021 - Andrew confirms that the watches have been passed onto their forwarder, and will be sent soon
• 1st January 2022 - Andrew provides tracking information via email
• 7th January 2022 - Item arrives in UK (South West DC)
• 10th January 2022 - Come home from work to find both my watches have arrived safe and sound!

My thoughts:

Andrew was incredibly helpful and professional throughout the entire process, answering my queries and keeping me in the loop whenever there were ay updates.

Considering the issues with deliveries to the UK atm, with Covid and of course stricter customs measures in place, I think 6 weeks from order to wrist is a more than acceptable wait time, and certainly worth it from my perspective.

To anyone that has not yet used Trusty and are considering, all I can suggest is be patient and trust in the process (no pun intended).

I am incredibly happy with the overall experience and would happily recommend Trustytime! Thank you again Andrew, it's been a pleasure dealing with you :thumbsup:

I did wonder if having both a Pepsi and Batgirl was a bit overkill since they are both on a jubilee, but very glad to have got them both

I remember you telling me how quickly this becomes an obsession when I first joined the forum under one of my first posts, god were you right! I've also managed to pick up a blue dial Skydweller today via an M2M sale today, but have also sold 2 of my cheaper reps I got when I was testing the waters in this strange hobby we all share! So thankfully they all still fit in the one box when I remove the two crappy Tommy Hilfiger quartz watches I bought a few years ago

Have 2 Octo Finissimo en route (the new 7mm BVF option) and a Batgirl/126610LN also en route. Excited to see them. But that'll do me for a while hwell:

I was pleasantly surprised also! I compared it to my Clean Pepsi and was impressed by the quality, for the price it was a steal!

I'm probably gonna put the breaks on a bit for a little while as well, as I want to make sure I enjoy the new acquisitions before expanding the collection further, Although I have been debating a 5712 for a little while now, the only problem is once it arrives I will very likely get it heavily modded as it is my grail watch, and I know it's gonna be pricey :thinking:

Thank you, very very true. Sometimes it's like a candy store here, especially with the new announcements

Specially excited about the Octos as tried on the GENs over Christmas and was very impressed with style/fit so hope they live up to the hype.

Both packages are en route so I'd say another few weeks, hopefully, anxiously hitting refresh on the tracker

Cool, I toyed with the idea of a 5712 at one point, but dropped down the list. There's a huge thread on it and I also think I saw AMF saying they have done, and can do, the mods, so maybe touch base (& start saving as it'll be pricey I imagine )

Wow, Batgirl for that fast? His responses to me was 4-6 weeks wait time on BLNR modes from any factory so I’ve stayed away from all GMT Master IIs.

I love that Batgirl. Andrew suggests that for Batgirl go with GMF. I would love to get your feedback on GMF so far. Lol although its only been 4 days . Please keep us posted on the Batgirl.
