First order with TheOneWatches

Not my first time ordering a rep, but it is my first time ordering from TheOneWatches.

I ordered a tank solo large SS on a SS bracelet from AF factory. I couldn't find a listing for this specific watch on any of the trusted dealers sites so I reached out to a few asking if they could source one for me. After a few replies from other dealers saying they couldn't get it, TheOneWatches replied to my weChat and said they reached out to the factory and could get one for me no problem. Paid through Wise and now I'm waiting on QC's, I was told it would be around 2 weeks until they get it from the factory.

I will post QC pics if anyone is interested.

Ok so update.
I got QC pictures early and I noticed a small printing error on the dial so I sent them the picture showing the error circled and I asked them to swap for for a different one. They replied with a close up picture of the error saying that there is no error there and that I need to allow some tolerance with replica watches.
Is it normal for a dealer to refuse to swap a watch if you see an error? Am I being crazy here? I will attach a picture that has a side by side of the watch they sent me for QC and a watch that another user posted QC pictures of which is also a tank solo large from AF.

After me asking 3 times for a replacement, they finally agreed.

Why? I saw an issue, sent them a picture of the issue I saw and said I wanted to swap. Is that not the whole reason for QC pictures in the first place? Is an issue like that something that is to be expected in a rep? I genuinely do not know which is why I asked here if I was being crazy. I will also add I was not disrespectful to TheOne throughout asking for a swap, more like I just kept circling in the photos the issue I saw and saying here is the issue I see please swap.

I've seen other people RL for similar printing issues on the forum so I assumed it was normal to RL for printing errors like this which is why I was surprised he kept responding with there is no issue. That's why I came here and posted asking if this was normal. I understand its a tiny detail but I plan to wear this watch everyday and it would bother me.

I bet you came from Reddit ? That's the only place people are delusional as you describe. Here we understand that you're paying a minimal fraction of what a genuine watch would cost. That's why we don't go around with a microscope zooming in to see flaws.

Let me share a little secret with you. Get close to the keyboard since I'm going to whisper it.............. even gens have flaws

That is a print error, you're not crazy, but it's not really surprising that wasn't considered big enough to swap for the TD.

Update #2

Sent Steve a nice apology and explained my misunderstanding as to what calls for a QC swap. He was understanding and said he's glad I understand reps will never be as perfect as gens but regardless he tries to get the best watches for his customers.

With that being said he sent me the new QC's and I there was some dust under the crystal so I had to RL it... Just kidding they looked great, I gave him the GL and thanked him again for swapping in the first place.

Great TD and he will be my go to in the future.

I have bought 2 Tag's from Steve now, he has been very helpful, service is great as are his prices, and like you, I will be buying more when my UK TD doesn't have the ones I want

Moving forward, remember that whatever watch you buy belongs to you and not the community. If you have an issue work it out with the dealer. Your dealer is selling to you and not the community. Be fair to him as well and there is no need to bring your deal or QC pics into the forum.
You have every right to approve or reject a watch but there is no need to bring the affair into the community. It’s nobody’s business (and interest) but yours.
In short, your QC pics are your business primarily. I think we can stop here now, no need for further updates. If anyone is interested in your QC pics he can send you a PM to discuss them in detail. You may find it incredulous but I doubt anyone is hanging on to peruse the next nail-biting chapter of the story of this watch.
If you have a legit concern it is allowable to ask the community for advice but it does not change what I mentioned above. All the best for your future purchases and have a good day. All’s well that ends well.
