First order with Steve - ZF Omega SMP 300 in blue

After debating on getting my first rep for more than six months, I finally decided to pull the trigger on the ZF Seamaster Professional Diver 300m in blue. Thanks in large part to Steve's writeup on the differences between the factories, I decided to go with ZF and to use Steve because he clearly cares about the craftsmanship of these products.

I plan on updating this thread as things progress.

08/12 - first contact with Steve. He advises me to pay $50 deposit for QC, and that ZF products can take around two weeks for QC.

08/14 - I transferred Steve $50 and he confirms receipt.

Waiting on QC.

08/16 - Received QC photos, but had to relight it owing to wonky 12 indices and high amplitude (327°).

Steve is solid. I've done numerous transactions with him and he is my go to TD.

Considering the high price Steve is asking for it, I would ask for another one

I've taken everyone's advice under consideration, and run the QC photos past others, and have ultimately decided to greenlight it. The 12s are a definite flaw, but I think I'm the only one who will notice it. Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Blue is already very close to Gen. If you want zero color difference, it's black. Of course, it's up to the individual to decide if they care about the color difference. I don't think it's a problem.
