Placed my first ever order with Steve, went with a V7F IWC Mark XX Blue Dial on Blue leather strap.

  • First contacted 11th of April 2023 - model was available. Steve was extremely responsive, longest I waited for a text back on Whatsapp was 20mins.
  • Sent payment via Revolut the same day (5% discount) - order was processed right away
  • QC pics are due in a few days

Final Update!
28th of April - received the package!

* had family pick it up as I was out of town, but as of the 29th I've had it in hand and I'm completely stunned. It literally feels exactly like a 6000 CHF watch. I was aware it's a rep, but I am blown away by the level of detail and the craftmanship that went into this. It's perfect imo. It'll take a while to get used to the ticking (it's my first ever automatic) but I love it! - pics will come soon

I only have one question to those far more versed in timepieces. Is the slight metallic "swoosh" upon movement normal? ( I assumed it's the sound of winding with movement, but since it's my first automatic watch I have no clue if this warrants a trip to the watchmaker for an oiling or its normal)
For reference, I can only hear this in a quiet room, but I figured this is the best place to ask.

Seems normal to me. Yes this is the sound of the rotor whirling round to automatically wind the watch. Some types are noisier than others, but rotor be nothing to worry about.
