First order with Steve - Cartier and IWC

Hey all! Thanks for being patient for my update. I placed my order with Steve for two watches, a TW IWC Portofino IW391031 and an AF Cartier Tank Solo W5200025, after Christmas. I originally requested an AF Portofino but the factory didn’t have any inventory and Steve said the TW version is quite good. I felt at ease with this suggestion knowing that TW is recommended for the IWC Da Vinci so I decided to go with the TW Portofino.
After going through the what felt like the routine (deposit, QC, payment, tracking), I received the watches today~! Unboxing them felt like I was buying the real thing and I was so excited to have these watches in hand. They did not disappoint. I do not have the measurements so you can compare to gen but I used to own the Portofino and it feels exactly as I remember. A measurement I can give you is my wrist size, which is ~6.5"/16cm
I’m not going to get long winded with my post but I want to say this was my first order with Steve and it was incredible. Yeah, I know, everyone loves to complain about the pricing. But I prioritize excellent service and Steve walked me though everything. I asked questions, he had answers and was PROMPT with his responses. Consistent communication puts me at ease and is worth the premium, in my opinion. Cannot wait to put my next order in with him.
