Why is it that everyone wants to post all the TDs public payment info out in the open? 🤔

Does it matter? If someone really wanted it they could just pretend to be a customer and get them to send it anyways. I don't see the issue.

Also... what could someone even do with the address that would warrant not posting it? Look at the TDs transaction history? Other than that, I can't think of anything.

So if you were an illegal goods dealer do you want your transaction history public and your wallet that you use to conduct such deals to be public? 🤔

Its already public, as you stated in your first post:
> TDs public payment info

If they had an issue with people being able to track the wallet, they would create a new one for each transaction as it's extremely easy to do so.

As I said too, if law enforcement wanted the TD's address, they could just shoot an email pretending to be a customer.

I do not get the point you're trying to make.

Ok, so your point is "i dont give a fuck, because it's easy to obtain I should just post it pubicly, who gives a fuck, not my problem, I don't care"

Ok bud. Enjoy the forum and good luck with the journey.

I will not be entertaining this anymore as its clear we're going in circles.

We disagree about how public address information is; and that's okay, but its clear we do not see eye-to-eye and we're wasting both of our times here. Regardless of our banter, I hope you have a good day; where ever you may be.

Will provide updates whenever they're available.

Feb/16/24: Just wanted to give an update. The watch is still not in USPS's hands; waiting for partner carrier to get it to the US.

Hoping for by the end of this month, but regardless I'm waiting patiently. More updates to come.

Thanks. I was having a hard time sleeping without your diary updates.
Glad to know you’re able to sleep now.

the purpose of these threads, in my eyes, is to allow new buyers to see what the experience is and what to expect. Something that clearly isn’t meant for people like you. Thanks for the meaningful reply!

Feel like I shouldn’t have to say this, but no malice intended. Life is too short to give a shit about random users on the internet.

Also, the fact you went through to effort to give that person their brownie points is pretty funny.

If you do a bit of research about Crypto payments and transactions, you'd be able to find an answer to your question.

Two major reasons:

1 - Decentralization: The person sought to create a decentralized digital currency that was not controlled by any single entity, such as a government or financial institution. This was in response to the centralization of traditional financial systems, where a small number of entities have significant control over the flow and value of money.

2 - Trust: Traditional currencies rely on trust in central authorities, such as banks or governments, to maintain their value and legitimacy. Bitcoin was designed to operate on a trustless system using cryptographic techniques, ensuring that transactions could be conducted securely without the need for trust in a central authority.

Now you're probably wondering why I'm explaining this to you, its to explain that crypto is a way for anyone to make transactions publicly, this enables the community to verify and validate transactions, that way, everyone is on the same page, everyone can verify that it was made since it's both out in the open while also being anonymous.

This person decided to post proof of his transaction, and rightly so, since this was exactly for this type of transaction that crypto was created/intended for.
