29/8/24 - received the watch! I wouldn't say it's PERFECT perfect, but it's effectively indistinguishable. The quality of the bracelet, case, hands, is incredible. The tolerances on the bracelet feel tighter than my gens. Very happy with it. In terms of imperfections: the 6'o'clock marker is very slightly slanted -- less so than the QC pics I rejected, but it is still noticeable under magnification. Also, when you put your ear to the watch and move it, you can hear the weight move / wind the watch much more than my other gens. The chrono pushers feel slightly different from my previous generation gen Daytona, but different isn't bad. Others have noted the crystal needs improvement, but this looks fine to me -- maybe I can get my hands on a gen Panda to compare it with. No blue tinting, and it doesn't look cloudy to me.
