First order with Andrew

Just a quick feedback on my first order with Andrew. I usually use another of our TDs (known for her impeccable QC process) but I saw Andrew had a very interesting offer on a Noob Sub no date v8 which I thought would be perfect for me to practice builds (sorry Rolex aficionados, I know nothing about Subs and I am doing this just for fun)

I ordered on his website and paid via WU. Very quick at answering emails (always same day) which I am not really used too ahah. QC pictures received 3 days after and it was in the post. I think I was lucky because I got the watch after 8 days. The all process took 2 and an half weeks

Kudos to Andrew ([mention]trustytime [/mention] ) he will get more business from me

here is the watch in its current state (but it won’t stay like this for long....)

Well this didn’t start really well lol the Raffle dial I bought for my sub doesn’t fit, it is like 0.5mm to large. I m now considering shaving (as it is a trial who cares right?) but not sure of the method. Well back to YouTube I guess ahaha

Oh and I also learned that if you push to far the little stem releaser you can actually dislodge part of the keyless mechanism

First attempt... I scratched the dial while sanding it down (marked @9 and @5) and same for the hour hand...

Hop on internet to reorder dial and new gold hands

I think it will look cool on a vintage burgundy leather strap
