First order with Andrew -datejust 28 FEB 23

So, on 28th Feb I placed my first order for what I expect to be a high quality rep Datejust with Andrew.

Initially I put an order in for a Daydate as I liked the fact they weren't as popular, however after much reading on RWI, the broader tinterweb and chats with some helpful folks I decided I wanted a Datejust, for various reasons.

Andrew was great, giving me simple instructions for a bank transfer payment with a 5% discount, letting me know rough timelines for QC pics and also cancelling my first order for the daydate. So far so good, I will update the thread as and when things move forward.

28 FEB - Order placed, contact made by Andrew, payment made.

01 MAR - Payment checked and further infor received regarding timelines for obtaining watch and QC pics

06 MAR - QC photos received, I won't post them all but here are a few. Only questions I had were, should there be small etchings in the corners on the back of the watch and is the engraved crown present at the 6 o'clock position.

These four light brown items are just tape, which is used to avoid scratches on the lugs while compressing the spring bars to fit the bracelet on the case.
On Omega's you usually have some writings/marks in those areas, not on SS DJ's AFAIK.

The less you see it, the more gen like it is

Etchings? Nope. You're not buying a whitegold model. Just standard stainless steel, so no etchings.
And the less you see the crown etched near 6'oclock on the glass the better. It will be on the crystal but should be almost undetectable to the naked eye.

Thanks guys, I wasn't sure about the etchings on the back, I know there is brown tape on there

Ok a bit of a delay in me posting, watch arrived everything works and it's great quality, my only issue is the strap is short, it doesn't fit me, they want £29 delivered for a single link, that's not a reasonable cost, I've never had a Rolex be too small for me but Andrew at trusty time says it's the same length as the original. So be aware that imo the straps are shorter.
