First Order with Andiot

I have experience with another TD but am trying out Andiot.

Ordered a QF Le Mans and Clean 126500 on the webpage, and sent payment via wise. Will update once payment is processing.

How do you pay with Wise? I'm having trouble. Did you send them USD or Hong Kong dollar? I have money in my Wise account, and it says the money is on its way, yet no money has left my bank account. Also, what does Andiot mean by sending the pdf? I tried asking, but I'm confused by what he means. I have his account as a personal account and not a business account when I sent the funds.

Andoit has confirmed receipt of payment and tagged my order as Processing.

I sent HKD. Wise will ask you for both the originating currency and the recepient currency. I am Canadian and originally tried to pay 1300USD -> HKD hoping that Wise would handle all the currency changes but it asked me for a USD bank account. I wanted to pay using CAD so I manually calculated the equiivalent CAD amount and sent 1814CAD -> HKD.

It can take a while for everything to show up when moving money around, it is not unusual for a bank to only post the deduction several days later.

After Wise fully settled the transaction (updating its status to "Sent") I screenshotted the transaction+details and sent it to Andoit. Wise can probably give you a PDF if you look around enough but a screenshot should be sufficient.

I should also mention that the first time I used Wise it took several days to pay the TD. It seems to be much faster after you have successfully completed your first transaction because this time it only took a few minutes.

Would you know if you have to pay the exact amount? I messed up the payment the first time because I did not see the how to pay with wise on his website (I just sent the money to the email, and had my bank account- NBC, for the name, with "I do not know their bank details" and Audit watches as the name of recipient). So now I have USD in my account, but when I will transfer it over (The correct way this time) there will be $2.70 USD in fees. I think no money was sent because it would make it an invalid address.

Since currency conversion rates float there is probably some wiggle room on the payment but typically a fee will be processed as an additional cost to you, and not affect what the receipent gets.

The instructions on https://andiotwatches.com/index.php?route=information/information&information_id=29 are fairly good. You may have also received an email which contains additional information that may or may not be needed (quoted below just in case). I believe that between these two resources every possible question Wise can ask has a precise answer so don't guess anything.

Did you get QC yet? Placed my order on the 21st and also got a vsf submariner as well as the panda daytona. Elliot says there's a delay for 126500ln Daytonas right now

I have not received QC. I waited several months for my first Daytona so when I order a rep I basically expect the process to take several months. Shipping can take several weeks as well.

I'm not picky about alignments, I just want to make sure nothing is missing or put in the wrong place. I do care about the movement though, so I'm not going to green light without seeing the clean on a timegrapher. Everything looks good otherwise.

The watch is going to ship internationally and get bumped around in its travels. What makes you think the timegrapher results will be the same ? The educated approach is to regulate it once it's in hand. If it even needs it.

Just covering my bases. I would not want a movement out >40s/d from the factory, once the numbers get big enough it becomes to likely that the movement was not assembled correctly.

From what I've seen almost every working rep comes out of the factory -10 to 20s/d so I don't expect issues.

I got mine as well. I ended up GL as well, but was debating if I should RL or not because that 3 marker was tilted

The worst shit those Rediots ever invented is this crappy QC tool. How the hell can you tell if your rep is fully 100% facing the camera lens without tilting in any direction? If you can't be sure, what's the point of plotting that thing onto the dial? It helps nothing but increase the workload and cost for the TDs.

And people are still wondering why the reps getting more and more expensive...

Agree with the sentiment on QC tool and people missing to realize it's caveat.

Just to be sure, you aren't saying that RichTime is incorrect about tilt for the index marker at 3, right?

Take a look at the rehaut - the watch (or maybe the camera) is tilted slightly toward the 1-2 o’clock side, making the rehaut around 7-8 o’clock appear noticeably thicker.

Yes, rehaut is not uniform all across. Certainly some angle/tilt involved while taking the pic.

Expecting a completely centered and perfect picture for QC anyway feels like a stretch - or simply unrealistic expectation to hold.
