2/8 - Order placed, payment sent
2/9 - Payment received
2/12 - QC pics received
2/20 - Tracking # received; though the website they provided me to track [http://www.uniment.net/itdida-flash/uniment/waybill-search-box] has been updating since 2/20, shows release from customs on 02/25 and in Chicago / departing the Chicago station on 02/27, nothing after that

USPS website with the same tracking # doesn't display any tracking information, just that 'Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item'

3/12 - Ryan e-mailed directly saying that the order is 'being processed for customs clearance' and that 'we must wait for the final result' even though the tracking # he provided me says it was released from customs on 02/25

3/13 - Ryan e-mailed directly saying the package already passed customs and that I can expect delivery soon

3/18 - No further updates on tracking, so e-mailed Ryan

3/19 - Ryan e-mails back that 'It was shipped on Feb 20th so it should be updated in a few days'

No updates since then, tracking on both websites is the same, is this normal?

I wouldn’t say it’s normal, but it’s not unusual either. Shipping from China can be unpredictable at times. I’ve had packages sit in the same location for 20–30 days before suddenly showing up at my door.

Ryan is telling me to reach out to USPS to get a statement...not sure why or how this is even possible, they haven't received the package...

Here's the issue I'm having...TRACKING shows CUSTOMS CLEARANCE ON 02/25, Ryan tells me he supposedly is seeing that the package is being processed for customs clearance on 03/12

Odd that your tracking is not showing yet from USPS. My USPS tracking began working once it departed customs and was passed over to USPS -- I am guessing this is what 'Arrived at Los Angeles station' refers to.

My package arrived in Pennsylvania this morning per USPS tracking, after no USPS tracking activity for 3 days. I am hoping to get it tomorrow or Tuesday. The latest that Uniment shows is that it departed from LA.

Yeah..this is showing then that I'm like, 20+ days behind you.

But how did Ryan e-mail me on 03/18 saying it cleared customs when my actual tracking shows that happened a month ago? He doesn't even reference a new tracking or another website, seems very odd...

Is this normal that Ryan would just leave me out to dry like this and say "too bad, contact USPS"?

Maybe it'd be in my court to do if this says 'delivered' but if not, then what's fair here? I have no idea how to realistically even confirm this.

If he's asking for that in order to process a refund or reship then why not just do it..it's incredibly easy. Plus they'll find out what really happened or at least have an opinion.
I've had an order that not only showed multiple customs releases dated far apart, but when USPS looked into the tracking they found the shipper had created two separate shipping labels to two different addresses (which they had never seen before) and I used that information with the TD which prompted action.

Exactly...out of nowhere, I need to somehow reach USPS to obtain an official statement confirming the package was shipped somewhere else..it's clearly sounding like he's viewing a different tracking number than what is showing on what he gave me if the dates are so far off..sounds like the same issue except this is going to just delay getting the watch even further...

Reach out to USPS online..or from your phone..file a claim. Mine was resolved in 24 hours and I even got a call back from them.

Thanks - I'm on USPS.com and it appears to file a claim, that I need the tracking number, evidence of insurance, and proof of value. Is this what was required for you? I don't necessarily have this...

I don't know, I do not fully understand how the tracking works with the courier that handles the package before reaching USPS. Ryan may be affiliated with this courier and can get info that we cant through tracking.

Maybe contact USPS customer service and ask them what is up with your package. Approaching nearly a month with no movement or acknowledgement from USPS tracking is odd. Hopefully it's in their hands.

Theres probably not much he can do, aside from shipping out a new one after you do not receive it after a certain amount of time, which you are probably approaching if you are no longer seeing any tracking activity.

That's...what I'm saying?

If I sold you an item for $1,000 and provide you a tracking number that just says "shipping label created" for 30 days, then tell you to go contact USPS to confirm officially it was not delivered correctly, you're legitimately telling me "seems like there's nothing you could do, I totally understand".

It's pretty straightforward he needs to just ship me a new one or refund, what's the main idea that you're trying to say here, kind of confused

It's Ryan who's insisting that I handle the issue with USPS.

I'm out $500+ now, 30+ days of no tracking updates other than from Ryan e-mailing me updates, and continuously saying "the tracking should be appearing soon"...and to now that I must deal with this to get an official statement from USPS? This just seems crazy to me. Not sure what is in the water where all the people insinuating I need to do anything here are

Ah i see. Your package has cleared customs but still not yet delivered to the 3rd party shipper, meaning USPS does not have it in hand yet. Tell Ryan that he needs to check it from the courier end.

For sure - the only issue is that Ryan just tells me to get USPS to email me an official statement from USPS that "the package was shipped to a different address".

I'm as confused as anything with the insistence from him on this point, given the lack of even shipment information that is available for anyone here.
