31/07/2024 (late evening) - Contacted via PM explaining what I'm looking. Quick reply saying he'll check stock and get back to me.

01/08/2024 - PM'd me to say the watch was in stock, and sent Revolut payment instructions. Payment made and received instantly. Watch ordered and waiting for it to arrive at his workshop.

I'll keep you all updated as it goes, but so far it's been smooth as silk.

01/08/2024 - Mi ha mandato un messaggio privato per dirmi che l'orologio era disponibile e ha inviato le istruzioni di pagamento Revolut. Pagamento effettuato e ricevuto all'istante. Orologio ordinato e in attesa che arrivi al suo laboratorio.

Vi terrò aggiornati, ma finora è andato tutto liscio come l'olio.

Well things have ground to a halt fairly quickly.
Payment was sent on August 1st, and I was told "Our supplier will ship the watch now. We will forward it after our holiday on 13th of August." I also asked for some pictures even though the QC is being done by the dealer.
I have sent 3 separate message since Monday (Monday, Wednesday, Saturday) just looking for an update on my order, and complete silence.
I'm not looking for deadlines or exact dates. Only for updates. If there's an issue, no problem. But let me know!

I'm still sure that the watch will arrive and I'll be delighted. But a courtesy message to let me know what's happening isn't too much to ask for surely?!

Apologies to @mrmckhansi, I completely forgot to bookend this thread.

Watch arrived in absolutely mint condition, and I'd defy anyone to tell the difference between it and an original. At my request, he also went to the bother of swapping out the metal bracelet for the runner one. I couldn't be happier!
