Hello everyone,

I would like to openly share with you my first experience of buying a replica, particularly from Andiot Watches.

1st June 2025: Inquiry sent to Andiot Watches:

  1. Datejust 36 mm, Oystersteel and white gold, reference 126234 (not answered - later on)
  2. 1st question: Are they still in production at the factory? (not answered)
  3. 2nd question: Which factory offers the best 1:1 replica? (answered)
  4. 3rd question: What is the standard lead time? Is stock available? (not answered)
  5. 4th question: How long does the quality check take? (not answered)
  6. 5th question: What price can you offer? (answered)

Current Progress:
  • 3rd June 2025: Andiot Watches responds by sending a picture of the requested watch.
  • 4th June 2025: Offer received by Andiot Watches (piece price in USD + shipping costs in USD).
  • 6th June 2025: Payment made – transaction sent to Andiot Watches.
  • 7th June 2025: Full name and address sent to Andiot Watches to prepare shipment.
  • 8th June 2025: Quality check received and approved. (Looks really professional to me!)
  • 13th June 2025: Asked for an update on shipment progress.
  • 16th June 2025: Shipment not on the way – address adjustment required.
  • 17th June 2025: Shipment en route to DHL.
  • 24th June 2025: No updates – shipment still in transit to DHL.
Communication was always fast, but the answers were sometimes too short for me as a non-experienced buyer of replicas.
Having said that, the overall communication was good, but it could have been better. As long as everything runs smoothly, of course the answers can be short!

I am now looking forward to receiving updates on my shipments. Hopefully everything will go smoothly and I will be able to post some pictures in a couple of weeks.

Keep you updated!

Cheers.

25th June 2025: After days or weeks with no update from the shipment provider, the shipment surprisingly arrived today.

The watch was really well protected, but I think there was too much adhesive tape, as I am still struggling to remove all the protective packaging from the watch. Unfortunately, there are still tiny pieces of adhesive tape on the top side that I haven't been able to remove yet, but they are still visible on closer inspection (see yellow mark).

Does anyone have a tutorial on how to adjust the size of a bracelet? Alternatively, would you recommend giving a 'replica' to a watchmaker to adjust the bracelet according to your arm size? I think I have to remove up to four elements for it to fit my arm perfectly.

Use a wooden toothpick to remove the plastic residue.
As for the bracelet, buy a set of decent screwdrivers and remove the excess links. YouTube has plenty of videos on the subject. Tools must be good though or you risk to damage the screw heads
