Hi folks,

This is my first purchase from TT. I've eyed two items to treat myself for Christmas/NY: Pam 01393 & Endurance Pro.

My payment was confirmed on Dec 4th and since then... there's nothing. :) No updates, no QC pics, etc. Is this normal? I was also wondering if I can add another item to my order and I've inquired about it via e-mail on Dec 7th - haven't heard back as well.

The doubt's building up. :)

Any recommendations are welcome.

Are you 100% sure you ordered from the correct TT? Scammers have taken many TDs names and created fake sites, so just establishing you have ordered from the correct details?

If you have, great, then I suspect they could just be busy, or the models are difficult to source, but perhaps others have received replies within this period and may see this posting.

I have read of lockdowns in China affecting supply etc, so this could also be a factor, but I hope you get the watches you're after asap.

I've used the URL from this (TT) forum section and double checked it before placing my order. So hopefully it was the true TT store.

Not sure if me starting this thread did help, but I've received an answer from Andrew saying "Factory has not passed me the watch yet". I'm sure it happens during a holiday season but there were two items in my order, from different factories.

Stuff is crazy delayed.

Every TD has this problem right now

Forums flooded with similar posts.
Patience.
All you can hope is to have it leave mainland China before CNY

I always give about 2 weeks for QC. I recently ordered a Datejust from him and got QC after a week, but it's been 3 days and still haven't got the shipping info. 2 weeks is completely normal for QC.

Jan 4th '23 Update:

Dec 16: Got an answer from Andrew saying "Factory has not passed me the watch yet".

Dec 17: QC pics for BEP arrived. After reviewing them I've asked Andrew if it was possible to cancel the Breitling because the rep was waaay off compared to gen. I've proposed to withheld a $50 from me to compensate for the inconvenience (let's call it "stupidity tax") but after a short back and forth Andrew was kind enough to offer either a store credit or a full refund for this watch. I was OK with a store credit because I was intending to buy a different rep with that money anyway.

Also, on Dec 17 I've asked if I can add a box set for PAM to my order. But Andrew then told me that it's going to be sent as a different package anyway so I can just put a new order. Also, Andrew agreed to provide a discount for the box set via a custom order procedure because I haven't used 8% discount coupon for my original order. (wow, than was super nice of him). So I've placed another order for the box.

TT does not provide QC pics for box sets so I was waiting for the tracking info.

Dec 18: The second order (box) received and confirmed.

Dec 22: QC pics for the PAM have arrived.

Dec 23: No questions from my side, everything looks sharp, QC pics approved.

Dec 28: Tracking info for PAM received.

Also, on Dec 28th I've noticed that a newer version of BEP is in the store and inquired if it's possible to buy it with my credit store and pay the difference via a custom order.

Jan 4: I've asked Andrew if there are any news about the box because it's been 18 days since that order was confirmed. He replied that they've already provided me with the tracking info on Dec 28th. This is obviously just a misunderstanding because on 28th I've received only one tracking code - for the PAM.

At the same time, as of Jan 4, there's no answer to my question how I can use my store credit to buy that new version of BEP.

One one hand, Andrew (I don't know if it's a real person or an alias used by their team) is professional and super nice to talk to. On the other hand, those gaps in communication are a little bit stress inducing. :)

Do allow me 12-24hrs at times to reply as I also need time to prepare the watches for QC, liaise with factory and do a whole lot of other admin

Sleep is also one thing I solely lack so do pardon my delay, if any. =P

Jan 31st '23 Update:

Jan 4: Andrew went to check with his team what happened to the box set (my second order just a couple of days apart from the first order).

Jan 10: No response from Andrew, I've sent him a follow-up. The response was: "My forwarder misplaced the tracking and am tracking to find it for me". Welp, that's unfortunate.

Jan 13: Another follow-up from me. The answer: "So far he has not been able to locate it". Ok...

Jan 24: Decided to ask if there were any news. Andrew sends me the the same tracking # as for my first order (the watch). I'm explaining to him once again that this was my order #1.

Jan 25: Andrews replies: "I clarified with my forwarder and the watch is sent together with the Pam boxset". Great news indeed.

Jan 31, today: the last tracking # update was on January 8th in China. Since then - no movement. It's been 35 days since I've got the tracking # and almost 2 months since I've placed my order.

Well, that's definitely new experience.

Trust me, this guy’s my only TD. He’s honest and will get back to you (ordered 20+ watches through him to date). Guy works around the clock and responds when others don’t. The fact you got any reply before CNY was over is rare for other TDS. I’m waiting on requests too but some factories aren’t even open yet.

Grab a beer and read some posts. Before you know it your QC will be here.
