First order from Steve - Not sure what is going on here

After looking at various trusted dealers on this site I decided to order from the one watch. Rolex Cellini, RG, black dial. Not a popular model, but I like understated design.
Ordered and paid 12/11/23
QC received and approved 1/21/24
Tracking received 1/25/24
Tracking shows it departed shipping partner facility in Homer Glen IL USA on 2/11/24
This location is about 8 hours from my home, but USPS has not yet received it from shipping partner (name of shipper not given).
Have sent 2 emails to Steve for clarification, but no response so far.
As a first time buyer I have no idea what to make of this. Ive ordered plenty of merchandise online and have never seen any of it get stuck somewhere for 10+ days.
Looking for advice from you guys who are more familiar with the ordering/delivery process than I am. Thanks in advance!

Hi Mark,
same as you I ordered from TheOneWAtches as there are many positive comments about Steve.
And I have the same issue that Steve actually is not responding to my emails (address: [email protected]).
If it continues like that I soon will report my experience of an order placed end of December but even didn't get QC pics so far (although paying a deposit).

They are just now coming off Chinese new year and I'm sure they are running behind, patience is key in the rep world. He will reply, just wait it out.

You have now seen it take longer than 10 days. Don’t worry about it you’ll eventually get it. It’s just one of those things. At least you didn’t melt down. Lots of guys make posts calling the TD’s ugly names. That’s actually why I even bothered to read your post. Those guys typically get roasted. Everyone brings their dish to the barbecue and it’s usually one hell of a fun time. You should stick around and join in the fun yourself sometime

You have now seen it take longer than 10 days. Don’t worry about it you’ll eventually get it. It’s just one of those things. At least you didn’t melt down. Thanks Zeta! Yeah, I'm not one to slander the TD online, or blow up because my expectation of a delivery time-frame doesn't match reality. I just had questions because the tracking showed my parcel stuck, then bouncing from midwest to west coast then back to midwest. Steve has now replied, promised to check with shipping agent. Not sure if it is lost, but he has reordered and will sent QC on new one when it is received. I trust him to do so, and if I receive original order in the meantime, so much the better. I knew before I purchased that it would be a long wait to delivery and I'm fine with that. I remember the words of a good ole boy in Missouri who once shared a life lesson - Good, Fast, Cheap...you only get 2! In this case Good and Cheap but not Fast! :giggle::giggle::giggle:

Steve has replied and we are working through it (see my reply to Zeta below). I'm sure the holiday and backlog is slowing him down a bit but he will get back to you. He has been very responsive to my emails except for the holiday, which he told me about beforehand. Hang in there and good luck!

You gotta respect the Chinese dedication to tradition and culture. I remember when we as Americans took our holidays serious. Our community’s would get together and celebrate and work would cease except emergencies and very few other exceptions. We’ve forgotten to do that stuff and we could learn from the Chinese especially how to celebrate our holidays. We need to get back to the basics and teach our children the importance of culture

Sorry for the delay in February, as we have just resumed work, the New Year backlog of information, We reply to our friends in order of priority. So the response speed is much slower than usual, please understand, as for the release time of the order for each model is different, depending on the factory, we also continue to urge, if you have any changes to the order or cancel the idea can be at any time to contact us

I received the watch end of February, 27 or 28. Steve and I had been in communication about weird shipping, and he offered to order a replacement at no charge in the event original had been lost. The watch is as described although the rose gold is more copper-colored than pictures. No big, and I have been wearing it daily. About 2 and 1/2 moths from order including Chinese holiday. I am overall very satisfied with the experience and will not hesitate to order from Steve again.
