I just completed the order with Elliot.
Just have to say that he was so helpful through the whole process.
Some months ago I found this $48 Olevs watch on Aliexpress. I ordered it and after opening the packed I was so impressed on how accurate it was.
The quality was also pretty decent for that price.
After using this watch for some time I found this green Olevs watch that looked like the Submariner Hulk. The price for this was $32 and again after I received it I was so impressed on how accurate it was.
I just have to say that it's beyond my understanding on how they are able to sell it for such a low price.
No of course the bezel had a lot of back play and it was no joy to move it around. You could hear the metal to metal sound but hey, $32!!
After using this lookalike hulk for some time I started to like it more and more and after some weeks I started searching for something with a higher quality.
It did not take to long before I discovered this RWI forum and after some reading I found out that the VSF3235 Starbucks should be a pretty good clone.
If a $32 watch is that good then a $400+ cant be any worse right?
When ordering it from Elliot I was so afraid to mess things up that I had to confirm with him every step of the process. (See this thread where Elliot lost his PP account)
He was so helpful and he answered me back within only a few minutes.
My order is now in the processing stage and he also gave me a thumbs up after ordering so I guess I manage to not mess things up..
These submariner watches is a bit confusing I think.
If I understand this correctly then in 2003 the Kermit was released. (Upgrade from the 1953 version)
In 2010 the Hulk was released and in 2020 the Starbucks (126610LV) came out.
Is there an even newer version that came out in 2023 called Kermit II? (It's like the Starbucks but with a some how lighter green color on the bezel)
A lot of youtubers refer to the all as Kermit so a bit confusing.
So next phase will be receiving QC for so to get some shipping info.
