Figured I'd share my experience.
Model: 116500LN (Tie Fighter), clean v3
Chatted via email couple days prior to confirm stock and ordered via website
27 Jan: paid (crypto - USDT), cost 600USD inc all discounts
29 Jan: 1st QC - was shown panda version and had them swap to tie-fighter version as I wanted black and this had been confused on the website order. (QC for the panda would have been GL - very good watch)
31 Jan: QC2. GL. link to QC Was getting worried I'd miss the CNY closures and have to wait another 2 weeks.
- Note: the number of pictures you get for QC is less than you'll get with other TD's. Had to ask for video of chrono and hands moving etc. Had to ask for a couple of extra photos as there was lint on glass and wanted to ensure was not on actual dial.
3 Feb: CT posted via courier
- Note: they sent via a courier I've had trouble with locally with amazon shipments. It's not the TDs fault, its the local depot/company that this courier uses...I got very worried the watch would get lost or sit at the depot or just not be delivered.
4 Feb: courier tracking = departed TD country
6 Feb: courier tracking = Arrived my country, cleared customs, sent to local depot
12 Feb: Parcel Arrived. I tested parcel weight prior to accepting and it felt correct (horror stories from package arriving light)
I filmed an unboxing just in case. Watch was present and very well packaged. The included a decent quality screw driver for the bracelet as well.
14 Feb: Finally took some close up photos
Result: I think the pictures speak for themselves.
The watch I received matches exactly my QC pictures.
The bracelet feels great (there was a little polishing compound still present in a tight nook in the clasp but who cares it wiped out easily and has no blemished)
The rotor is, well, I wouldn't call it noisy but its tactile. You don't noticed it though and if I get the watch serviced I'd expect it improves greatly
Pushers are fine/good.
Crown its very nice. Winding is incredible smooth.
Finish is...covered in my fingerprints. no idea how I'm going to keep this thing clean.
