First order - Ctime experience

I placed my first order with Ctime last week, here's how it's going-

Keep in mind, this is my very first order after finding out about RWI in the last two weeks, so forgive me if I'm not up to par on the terminology.

I messaged their Whatsapp late Thursday night with what I was looking at. Half an hour alter I get a reply with an introduction, a link to their website for exactly the watch I was looking for and a promise for QC photos and videos 2-3 days after placing my order.

I messaged them around 7:30 in the morning on Friday with a final question before placing my order and in less than 30 minutes I had an answer to the last of my questions. I placed my order online, sent the screenshot of the order confirmation back to the Whatsapp and they provided the info for my preferred method of payment. Payment sent at 9AM and less than 20 minutes later they confirmed receipt of it.

I planned on allowing 3 days for QC, plus an extra day grace period since these guys are busy I'm sure. In less than 2 days I received a ton of high quality QC photos, videos, etc. I thought I saw a scratch in the crystal, which I asked about and they happily provided more pictures of the area in question and it turns out to have just been a reflection of the light off of the camera lens. I thanked them for their time and told them to go ahead and ship.

About two hours later, they confirmed my address one last time and reminded me that transit time would be roughly 3 weeks and was told they would update me with a tracking number the following day.


Which brings us to today, where I have established full confidence up to this point in CTime. I have done a lot of buying and selling online for most of my life and this has been a very transparent and responsive transaction from start to finish. I will update this post as I get more info, for any skeptical new buyers like myself.

Update 6/18: Ctime sent me a picture of my package along with tracking information and the website used to track from start to finish. Not only did they send a picture of the tracking number, they also typed it out so I am easily able to copy/paste. Small details like that are important because trying to read off the number and type it into another site can be time consuming, even if it's just 60 extra seconds.

Looking forward to receiving my watch!!

6/27 my order showed customs clearance, should be delivered early next week. Looks like from order date to delivery date is almost 2 weeks on the dot. I’ll post pictures next week once received!

Okay! Well either way, delivery date is tomorrow and I’ll still post pictures. Didn’t plan on daily updates for everyone weeks after receipt! Just encouraging and enlightening others that are on the fence about placing their first order.

You made an account for the wrong reason then. And not just that, you then misuse your membership to gratuitiously offend another member.
@TESLA760 has his own way with words, but he mainly expresses his own opinion. Reactions to his opinions can actually be a good indication of how fit new members will be in the forum. Grown-ups rarely engage in quarrels with him.
He can be direct and quite harsh, yes (and gets his fair share of reports), but I've yet to see him offending someone else unprovoked.
You don't have to share his opinion and you could go about having another kind of interaction with him and other forum members, but making an account just because of him sheds a quite pitiful light on your relationship with the internet.

No more direct personal offenses, consider yourself warned.

If you spend a long enough time here you will come to understand why these posts are frowned upon consistently by members. Hint : it's not random, some of the review threads are not bashed on but some are. See if you can find the common denominator.
