Hey everyone. I'm not sure if this belongs in this forum or somewhere else, but I just wanted to let everyone (especially noobies like myself) know about my experience with TrustyTime.
About two weeks ago, I attempted to order a watch through the Trusty website using a credit card. The purchase initially went through / my card was charged, but I received a follow up message from Andrew stating that there was an issue on the processing end and that he needed to refund the purchase, and to expect that refund within 14-21 business days. My initial instinct (keep in mind, this was the first order I'd ever made for a rep watch) was SCAM!! I contacted my credit card company just to make sure that options were available to me should that refund not come through. After being assured that yes, I would have recourse if things didn't work out, I decided to wait and see if the refund came through.
Anyways, long story short, I received the refund a couple of days ago (I did find myself out about 10 dollars but not big deal, think its probably related to currency exchange rates or maybe processing fees). SO, I guess my point is, for anyone else that finds themselves in a similar situation, don't panic. Seems like it's just part of the myriad of issues that can arise when purchasing a rep watch. Thanks to everyone on these forums for all their help and the knowledge they share. And thank you to Andrew for the refund / sorry for having harbored doubts in my mind!
