Hi to all
Being a newbie to this platform I would like to take the chance to say hello to everyone and share my experiance with Jtime.
I read several posts regarding trusted dealers here wich encouraged me trying out Jtime, so I did.
And what can I say: All went perfect!!!
The communication with Li was super kind and very efficient, thank you for that, Li!!!
As well the contact to the service including all pics of the QC and the helpful conversation gave me a good feeling after having sent the money.
Finally it took 5 weeks for the shipment to arrive and it was worth every minute waiting.
I make watches myself (insta: phils_seiko_mods) and I`m flattered by the quality I recieved.
I recommend this dealer, you can trust them blindfolded!
Thanks a lot!!!
Best
Phil

I bought the same watch, also from JTime, I am having some issues with the timekeeping and powerreserve on the watch though. As a seiko modder yourself, would there be a good replacement movement for this?

Thanks

hm, received the watch yesterday, put it on the time grapher and the values look fine. Therefore I can`t tell anything about the longterm relieability of the movement.
First of all I would check with a normal compas if it is magnetized (the needle starts turning as soon as you bring the watch closer to the compas). In this case take it to a nearby watchmaker and tell him to demagnetize it (takes a few seconds) or buy yourself a device (couple of euros on all common trading platforms). This might do the trick already.
Another adjustment would help for sure as well.
But after checking the reviews reg this movement I have the impression that it might be a matter of luck to get a reliable one.
Replacing it is for sure possible, but would need some efforts. And most probably you will need to replace the hands as well. I`m thinking of a Miyota 9039 which is 0.27mm more in heigth. I could imagine that this should be in scope, but no guarantee without checking in detail. Also ETA is always worth a look.
