well one thing im curious about, supposedly on the Gen the back movement part spins but yet to see it spin any where, so i gotta know if the rep spins

Yes, as per 90% of this model reps with myota it has a jumping seconds hand. I new this before ordering it. This one jumpes one time around the 3 o'clock position and when you move the hand very suddenly and hard. But I got past it on the first day. It doesn't bother me anymore.

The jumping hand isn't a "problem".. it's just a characteristic of how a miyota movement is. Shame.. but that's how it is.
