First ever rep. I ordered a BPF Air King (not the most popular Rollie, but I like it), and received a Noob Air King this morning. Read on to find out why!
First of all, I must commend Trusty on the delivery time. From order to arrival in the UK it took 15 days. I don’t know, this might be standard, but I am extremely impressed.
Order placed 7 Oct. BPF Air King, paid $325 shipped.
I received QC pics on 15 Oct, alongside a note explaining that there was a wait time for the BPF model. The QC photos sent were Noob. I was a little disappointed, as the BPF is consensual NWBIG, so I asked how long the wait time was on the BPF.
Andrew responded: “I have just sent you the QC pics for the Noob Airking. Did you not receive it?”
I reviewed the photos and ultimately approved QC. There were one or two flaws. Maybe if I was a more experienced buyer I would have put my foot down and waited for BPF but I was eager and the Noob was pretty solid.
I asked if I would be reimbursed slightly as the Noob is $30 cheapest on trustytime than the BPF. Andrew agreed and issued partial refund swiftly via PayPal.
The watch turned up today, and even with its minor flaws, I love it. The crystal engraving is quite a long way off centre, but this would have been visible in QC if I had inspected closely enough. I think the colours are more pronounced and closer to gen on the BPF (although they come out really well on these 2 photos), but overall I’m not complaining. In fact I'm pretty damn pleased.
I intend to buy a rep every few moths from now on. Thanks a lot for fuelling my new addiction guys. This one’s on you.
