Just ordered last week
they were accommodating with the payment

I got the qc pics a few days later.
looked very good and I approved

they contacted me a few hours later to tell me that the watch was 316L by maker mistake and not 904L as I ordered

pleasantly surprised as i would not have known anyhow

now they are talking to the maker to get the right watch and will send new qc

will keep thread updated

I don't know what to say.
They emailed me again...The maker put a polished midlink bracelet instead of the fully brushed.

I did not catch it, they did.

On one hand, I am super frustrated. On the other, I admire the professionalism of not shipping a non-conform watch.

Its been over 17 business days and 23 days in total and I have no QC pics, they told me the millenary watch I ordered was getting made by the maker but I dont think its made anymore.

If they do make it and send it I will buy another one, but I dont think they will be able to get it. everyone says its out of production

I ordered an Explorer1. pretty mainstream. Seems you ordered a niche model so it's understandable that it takes longer to source.

Chazingtime could improve the way they set expectations on time. My current experience is showing me they are serious about quality but their communications don't help their image

As for communication, these guys are busy they're not your secretary and won't update you every day if there's nothing new. They will get back to you when they have something to say. There's people here who waited even months for QC.

I have a VSF watch that was DOA. Took it to watch repair - who found a piece of metal was stopping the watch - he fixed it - but the loose metal brook some teeth or damaged the hairspring - and advised me to order just the movement - it would cut loses and customs confiscation highly likely, Alice was very responsive and was able to get VSF to sell me just he movement. It’s been a week and no QC pics yet - but they were empathetic and accommodated my request. Their trying and as of today, appreciate it.

It's fine. I am not complaining. They were actually very fast. The issues were with the maker, not the TD.

I really appreciate that they did not ship me a non-conform watch, twice, where they caught the error and not me

Approved it
Timegrapher running at +8s but it's fine for me as I rotate watches over the week.

let's hope it gets through to me now.

Nice , what do you mean it's running at +8 seconds? How can you tell?

They give you a shot of the watch on the timegrapher in the QC pics, with a post it and your order number handwritten. That's supposed to show that it's not a stock image.
