First 22B from Andrew : Buyer Remorse

Just got the Pam 222B from Andrew. He was great, very responsive. http://www.ttwristwatch.com/index.php?m ... cts_id=775 but I really don't like the watch that much. I would have rather had the the 253 or the 089. For a newbie...does anyone have any suggestions?

you mean the 222...I have that one and I love it...it suits more a leather strap than the bracelet...try to get a nice leather strap and i bet you'll like it then!

It's a nice watch, I'd keep it for a while if I were you, sentiments towards these beautiful objects of admiration called Panerai, change. Also, Panerai taste is an acquired one, it takes longer time to 'develop' than with any other popular watch brand I know of.

BTW, I really hate when rep dial makers try to recreate the "faux" T-dial finish, luming hands in almost C1-white and dial in gunky-yellow, ugh!

Not a fan of the auto PAMs (unless they're chronographs), or bracelets. I agree, try putting a decent strap on it and give that a try for a couple of weeks.

It's really an ugly, horrible, nonsense watch. You should get rid of it as soon as possible.
