Finish my 1680 red

Hello guys
I finally had time to finish the 1680 red project.
I will add this watch to my Rep collection!

for this watch I used the following parts and worked the case, to bring it closer to the gen.
the project is made for a 1680 red meter first with tropical dial. I was inspired by this model…I repeat, I tried to get closer



for this watch I used the following list:

• case complete ruby rework by me
• movement gen
• tube + crown 700 Anthaya
• hands ruffletime with tritium by me
• dial MQ topical mf red ( buy in RWI )
• plexi 127 gen
• insert crownart by instagram (I like it)
• bracelet 7206-80 by ruby

it was designed for a 2.3MLN/2.5MLN serial from the 1969/70s

And I have to say, in my experience, Crown art Customs bezel inserts are absolutely worth it. Yes, the price tag hurts, but that's the only time you cry
My OCD self has been looking for an exact type of faded 1675 bezel and an exact amount of grey + faded 5513 bezel, and CaC was able to supply exactly what I had envisioned. So for anyone doing a mid- to high-quality build, a CaC insert could be the finishing touch.

you are spot on with the CAC insert. I have three for my 1675 and it's an absolute must! that fat font is an absolute stunner.

Lovely watch. Got a red dial but never got round to getting it fitted,how do you find the gen plexi,i have a 1680 with one and find it hard to warm to it but maybe that's just me
