Hey everyone,

it's like looking for a needle in a haystack.
I am searching for a 40mm Pam Rep and I think it is dispensable to say, that I am searching for a quite nice Rep and no Cheapo.
But I've already contacted some sellers and it seems that there is no good Rep in the 40mm size available.
Does anyone have an idea where to look for one, or maybe someone is selling his own to me?

40mm Pam? Some of the Luminor Marinas fall into that category.....0048, 0049, etc.

Not so sure if they've been repped though. No help here, sorry, but good luck anyway,

honestly the 44mm pam is not as big as it sounds, I have tiny wrists and it suits me rather well without looking like flavor flav.

Look at Puretime a TD here. You will find him in the TD section here. He has 40mm 048/049 for sale since yesterday. Hope this helps.

Go to Repgeek and find Robert AKA Presteige Watch Company (PWC).

The watch you want is the MBK/MBW market's PAM 048 and 049. They are very good, and only need a re-lume and datewheel swap to make them 95% gen.
He can source you one for around $400, and Narikaa can also get you one but he has to be actually in the country (Thailand i think) to get it for you, so it might take a little longer.

This is the best version, with the excellent crystal (one of the best of all the PAM reps ive been told), and with the A7750.

Does anyone know anything about this watch??? First time I have seen an 048 + 21J combo that is this high quality!
And first time I've ever seen a 119 replica as well!!

Been waiting to pull the trigger on the MBK/MBW version for my GF but I havent had the funds.

EDIT:
Actually im pulling the trigger on an 048. Price is right and I want to see how good the 21J version is before I dish out $400 for the 7750 version. Will make a full pictorial review when I get it :)

Double Edit:

Shit, now I cant decide between an 048 and 049
Its for my GF who is asian (white does look good on her)

Gen - Notice how thick the date wheel looks!!:

Last edit:

Decided on the 048. I like the way the 12 and 6 look, more traditional to Panerai.

I hope you all enjoyed a ride along my very indecisive thought process :D
Decision based on this pic, from the hot chicks & pams tread ;)

Why wouldn't he just look up Robert here at Time4Direct?

Shit, had no idea he ws on this forum as well. Thought he was only a TD on repgeek or something

<--- I are super noob, i had no clue they were the same person :(

EDIT:
Since I have already publicly declared my supernoob status, does anyone know what the proper way to order from Robert is then??

Im using this form, but I dont know how to indicate that I want a PAM 048 with the brown leather strap and pre-delivery servicing without making it clear that its a replica purchase (obviously don't want to screw him). Want to get it ordered hopefully before the weekend!

If you're a self proclaimed super noob I don't think Robert is the right dealer for you I'm afraid. He's very much a numbers man and just wants to shift as many watches as possible, he's not into hand holding, details or even really just answering questions.

Those that use him like him but he's not suited to everyone, especially noobs... Customer service isn't his strongest point.

40mm PAM's are very nice, I was looking for one, to use with suits in a working base.

Nice found, I mailed Robert, let's wait his comments.

Being a supernoob does not mean I'm incompetent, It just means I'm new and since ive never ordered from T4D before I dont know all his completely unwritten or unmentioned conventions :(

Got it all figured out and ordered, all I was worried about was how to specify that it was a PAM048 without actually specifying the panerai part of it.

Thanks for the help :)

No offense meant, just saying that Robert isn't for everyone. I'm no noob but he's certainly not for me either!

I was closing inspecting PAM 119, versus Robert's pics.

Robert's PAM 40mm are very nice for the price, but one issue is bothering me, at the end of CG lever, there is a kind of roll mounted, the CG lever isn't like the 44mm PAM's CG lever, made of a one piece SS (see pic below).

PAMCG.png

So I'd like to ask, where I can find a correct CG lever? If it isn't an easy job, the 44mm CG lever will fit 40mm PAM?

I asked Robert, but as you said here he is not for everyone, I believe he can't source this piece, so will try to find the piece that will fit before think about the watch.

Any idea to solve this flaw?

Max

the 44mms have the roller ball, theres just not many pics of it

Thanks,

I emailed him and he told me it. To me it is ok.

And about Robert, to me he is very responsive and cordial, I sent several mails, received complete and precise answers in a record time.

I think he is very good to deal with.

Does anyone have any photos of the MBW PAM 48? Looking for one myself. Robert (T4D ? ..) said he could get one at 379 I believe, but I would like to see a photo, and not just take someones word that its good...

+1 on 048. I bought a fully modded one for my wife. She loves it.
