I really wish Breitling had put the wings logo at 12 o'clock on these. The 'B' is on the chrono seconds hand. Obviously not a flaw of the rep but those wings really make or break it for me on a Navitimer, especially in gold they are prestigious.

And I wish it will have decent movment... since the GEN one no longer use the ETA (modified in-house) but the B-01.

Always heard about Breitling Navitimer reliabilty problem...

Bought a GEN Superocean Heritage some years ago, and sold it because of non-use... the only Gen watch that loose 30% of its value right out of the shop.

Yeah, the old breitling logo would be nice.
However, it is a nice rep. Surely not super rep, but it is quite good. The only thing that is killing me in every chrono rep is the sunken dw :(

Ferax the datewheel does not look too sunken on the gf, but the “b” logo is a little suspect... other than that, I am VERY VERY curious about the gf... I’m hoping they have corrected the bad “b” logo, but I have t had any trusted dealers tell me such as yet...
You know if you’re okay with 46mm, the world had the legit date don’t and no sunken date wheel!
this thing is a beaut and def. a super rep!
Other than the BP, JF black dial is gonna be pretty good and accurate....

Ferax yeah... those pics looked horrible ahaha. I didn’t think they looked so bad in whatever pic I was looking at... I meant the world-gmt is 46mm

Hello,

I am really interested by these new Navitimers. I was going for the world/GMT, but afer trying it at an AD I realized it is too big for my wrist.

So I am considering the standard Navitimer. I want a working chronograph, so the BP is not an option for me. In the JF the date font looks really wrong. The GF is really interesting. I could live with the wrong "B" but there are 2 very important points for me :

- How sunken is the date ? It looks less than the JF, but of course you cannot say from the pictures
- How good is the bezel ? In the real one there is nearly no gap between the marks on the dial and the bezel. This is a common fault in "bad" replicas.

If someone has it, I would be interested to know. Thanks.

gia311271 well, I don’t know anyone with it...
but unfortunately, if you want the dial markers to meet the bezel markers, your best bet is JF. The datewheel is sunken on ALL except the BP...
I was just like you in that I wouldn’t get near the BP bc of the chrono.. but after having the JF AND another one (the 299 gray dial you see on the sites) I just ordered a BP. It seems to have the best of all possible things... the bezel markers come basically as close as the JF does to the dial, the spacing is right on the sub dials and the datewheel is great...
I can’t bring myself to get the gf primarily bc of that B... dude it’s HORRIBLE!!! but yes gf’s rakers meet as well as the JF or BP...
Be careful bc I have not seen too many JF or BP a23322 which have bezels aligned with the dial...
if JF, go black!
if gf, please post pics...
if BP, make sure the bezel is aligned and the markers meet..:

Slanglican,

Thanks for the advice. We share the same doubts.

The B on the GF is ugly for sure, but not really a detail you can spot on the wrist. Of course YOU know and you will always be looking at that :). But if the date is not too sunken (it looks really bad on the JF, and the font too) I could still get it. I will wait for some more feedback from buyers. Maybe they will also correct the B on a second version...

Or maybe I will consider again the GMT :)
