Finally 127 franken complete

after a long wait of buying everything from modded EL 127's and marlin 127's I have finally got the 127 I've wanted
Aquired a 127 franken on here a little while back that supplied me with the gen dial and hands, through some luck or fate through acquiring this amazing franken from Grim, I also aquired a gen E series 127 movement.
I had a 127 Marlin using a KW or V6 base (not 100% sure) but either way it was unreal ! Joes work is fantastic !
So I used this case because it was my newest case and well it had an OOR serial which is rarer than hens teeth in the wild lol
Slightly reshaped the case around the inside of the lugs to fix the little issue the new 127s have on the lugs.
Added a WSO crystal with an awesome slight blue hue like the gen 127.
And here she is ...

KW reshaped case, gen dial, gen hands, gen crown, WSO crystal, gen NOS calf strap and gen buckle.

Good job, looks great!! You even have the OEM Cashmere strap the 127 originally came with. Sold my 127 in 2012 for a lot of dough, it was my daily beater for almost 10 years, still have the strap though Wear it in good health

Haha yea I think a few people were. I was all over it like white on rice when I seen the gen dial and hands lol
Then it just so happened he had a gen movement as well and it all fit nicely with the parts I had already
I was excited as a pig in S#!t when I nailed the deal down, but had to wait two weeks until I got home from work in Africa to see it. Then I got really ill a few days after getting home and found out I had Malaria and have been out of commission since last weekend and still quite ill, but mobile, so I assembled it all last evening while trying to make myself feel better with a few cold ones lol
