There's a Ferrari dealer down the road in Greenwich, CT. They also sell Maserati's. I will go down and ask them about the watches, I'm sure they will know.

Oh, wait, you are talking about couterfeit watches. Hmmm, I think that AGradeOnetoOneSwissFakeyFakey.com has the most accurate stuff on the market.

Every dealer has the same watches-

Cosmetically they all look sooo lose to the gen- weight is right, feel is right- even the band looks right- I'm sure the microscope gang has some idea of which font is of or the sate wheel or whatever- but on the wrist they all look 100% accurate to me.

The tell? The gen reeks of leather- the band is really aromatic- the reps smell like vinyl!

I believe all Ferrari watches are made from the same factory. As for accuracy ( cosmetic ) level.... 0008 (blk dial/ chrono) should be the closest one. Someone post a high resolution pic of genuine Ferrari watches at RWG and I can't find any noticeable flaws from my 0008.

0004..... gen pic shown sliver hand on right hand side sub-dial vs black hand on rep. Also gen has "L SWISS L", rep has no "L"
00011 (yellow chrono)....there should be a "tail" from the #2 sit right above the right hand side sub-dial.....missing from rep.

001,002,009...some people say the date font is not right but I cannot confirm that.

Built quality: my 0008 feel very solid, with decent weight and excellent details. I have the rubber strap which made with some very nice material, collect zero dust.

Movement: I think they all use Asian 7750. I have yet to see another movement listed by the dealers.

Those are what I know so far....hope it help.

wowowwo , i expected some of the remarks here today about this(and yours efstefn, lol) but u simply amazed me being u have recently joined, kudos for your attention to details, it made me smile alot

now since u went to this effort can u tell me which one without chronos is the closest to genuine and what r the flaws to u on them , some pics would be cool as well, believe me u have me impressed

also can u show the pics of the genuine 0008 verses pics of the rep 0008?

and one more thing , can u tell me is teh silver verses black hand the only thing that makes it wrong ?

thank u so much for making me pay attention (its refreshing)

WoW!!

Did you ever confirm the date font issue with the 0002? I have one on the way and I thought the 0008 and the 0002 were 1:1? I was not aware of a date font issue.

I can't 100% confirm that.....but according to V, because they has date and the date font is different. How bad? I don't know as I'm not too good to spot date font. I think 0008 is really 100% 1:1......and the rest are 99.99%

Since I have the Scuderia 0008, I think I may go pick up one of the Gran Tourismo model when I visit far east this summer. 8)

WOW!! I really love those watches... I think that Panerai should make a Ducati PAM. Something with some carbon fiber, and maybe a kelvar strap. Who's with me?

The loupe boys have pointed out that the Prancing Stallion on the reps is too detailed, the gen has a more 'liquid silver' or mercury look. The pics do bear this out. I just ordered a yellow chrono from Andrew despite this and the missing #2 tail. I think these latest reps look fantastic! The accurate case size and the knurling on the crown and pushers is a huge improvement over earlier reps. As soon as a 1:1 Rattrapante chrono (17mm not 13mm thick!) comes out, I'll probably grab one of those too.
