Thank you for posting that - it seems both gen and rep collectors look down on homages somewhat (although generalisations like that can be misleading - haters are more vocal than lovers after all)

I've been looking at pre-ordering a Baltic and weighing it up against the Helson FF .

The whole homage thing has become personally attractive especially as I focus on dive watches. You know the details and features of the gen and you end up with a robust WR tool watch.

This fifty five fath is a nice balance of elegant and FF feature replication

Price point is nice too as most ZF FF reps are close to $500 USD.

There is a $250 V6F Miyota 8215 FF rep out there now though, same price point.

I agree about a good take on a homage though, as I wear my Helson Skindiver And Ocean7 LM-5 more often nowadays than my Noob V1 BPFF or ZF Barrakuda:
