Is the rose gold version of the automatic just as accurat as the steel?

I owned it for a while but the gold felt too red for my liking. Several months later I saw the gen in NYC and in retrospect I think it is spot on

I have one, I believe that it is pretty darn accurate. Since the closest Blaincpain dealer is over 300 miles from me, I really don't expect to ever see a genuine in the flesh!
I put a gen sailcloth on mine, but in retrospect, it's probably not worth the difference in price.
Mine gets a pretty good bit of wrist time, probably in the top 5 in my rotation of close to 40 watches, about half rep, half gen.
Here is mine.

I sold my RG BPFF because I found that it was too red. A few months later, I got the chance to handle a gen RG BPFF at the Blancpain boutique and while the build quality of the rep is great, I feel that the case indeed is a touch too red. However the chances of you seeing a gen RG BPFF in real life is slim to none. How is the case plating holding up @panerai153? Looks great.

I personally think it is pretty much spot on in daylight. The boutique lighting can be deceiving sometimes. I'd be more concerned about the plating wearing off.

Outside of the small scratch on the crystal, mine looks like the day I unwrapped it. I suppose if you wore it every day, eventually it would show some wear, but all in all, I think the plating is pretty sturdy.

I wore mine for about a year through all sorts of conditions through numerous countries. It's been bumped, dropped, smacked, submerged, you name it. The exterior looks great still, save for one very tiny "smudge" on the sapphire that I can't get off. The RG plating is impressive and I haven't found any spots where the plating has worn off (even the caseback is as good as new minus the normal tiny hairline scratches). The main issue is that the rotor no longer winds the watch and I have to manually wind it now. Will probably get that fixed eventually.

I believe that the main issue with the BPFF rose gold is the gold tone that is not very accurate. The bracelet is the big issue with gold plated watches because it gets more wear damage. The case will hardly show some wear.

Haven't had any issue with the buckle. It definitely has signs of wear, but the plating has not worn through.
