Fifty Fathoms Crystal Thickness

I love my Fifty Fathoms V2 and wear it a lot, but I'm unhappy with the protrusion of the crystal above the bezel. Its too high and detracts from the look of the watch.

I'd prefer the glass to be flat with the bezel. I haven't touched a gen, but on online video the glass doesn't seem to stick out in quite this manner. Can I do anything about it? Does any manufacturer make a more shallow crystal, with which I could replace?

it's a thick, domed crystal, the rep shape is pretty much spot on.

I don't know where you'd find a flat alternative with the correct dimensions, though I'm sure one's out there...

Yes, the gen crystal indeed has a purple/blue shine to it (stunning IMO).
