Hi guys and girls,

The pics below is a 'presumed' Eddie Lee Fiddy I've aquired quite a while ago.

I know the differences between a EL Fiddy and other std Fiddys...
but the main problem is that I've never had a DSN or Angus Fiddy to compare in hand:lol:

Here's some high resolution pics....
From info gathered in forums, I think its a V.2 EL version..from '06?

Mineral Glass : looks like an 'opaque' mineral crystal(actually my first mineral rep.. I don't like it:() with better curve
Hands : A Bit scuffed.. low cannon pin
Movement : old Swiss ETA..wrong bridges..
CG : Pin flushed. Lever close to the case. Nice Fit.
Lugs : The lugs looks OK but do they really stand out from the other Fiddys?

Dial : The EL dial should be the ultimate as far as I know... but not sure if this IS actually an EL dial..plus it has lots of nicks on the dials.. looks like shattered glass hit the dials..maybe not..:)

'Nough of the talk, here are the pics...
Fiddy experts.. please chime in for details as well as future mods..

Look at the nicks on the dials.. don't know what happened..
I know fiddy dials have a satin.. rather glossy finish.. but can this be restored?

Dude!!! get a new one... Anguses case and dial are not bad... just make sure the Damn watch works... and the skrews don't fall off... like mine. I am trying to get Angus... to respond my emails... but NOTHING. Anyway fiddy from angus... not bad... strap though is another story... poor looks and the color is just not right.
I am going to make new crownguards and a new lever... like the GEN. Hopefully my metal shop can help me out with this.

Oh and check on the hands.., they seem to scratch them.

Overall is 8 for actual case.
and 4 for the mechanical bits.

Well, that definitely looks like an "EL" case. Send it off to a modder and have them replace the canon pin, swap in some DSN superlumed Fiddy hands and put a coat of matte clear finish on the dial (that would probably help hide the nicks in the dial, as well) and swap in a DSN sapphire.

Even the best rep movement is a tell, so I wouldn't worry about the movement, personally.

sincerly appreciate your reply hooligan.

The problem is that I'm receiving different answers from different members
regarding if this is an EL or not :)

Frankly speaking, I'm not quite sure about the dial itself..
as for the case.. 50/50chance...
